EKTOMORF [DD]

Ektomorf es una banda de metal de Hungría. El sonido puede ser mejor descrito como pesados y étnicos de inspiración thrash metal y gitana folclore (resultante de las Raíces de los miembros fundadores) que recuerdan fuertemente de Soulfly y Sepultura. Ektomorf fue fundada en 1994 por los dos hermanos Zoltán (voz, guitarra) y Csaba Farkas (bajo). Después de algún tiempo en el metro y material escrito canción, la banda obtuvo un acta acuerdo y publicó su primer álbum Hangok (lo que se traduce como "Voces" ) en 1996. El musical mezcla de thrash metal, hardcore, punk y folclore gitano (resultante de la Roma raíces de los hermanos Farkas) obtenidos Ektomorf pronto un montón de fans en su patria húngaro. Con el seguimiento de Ektomorf en 1998 Ektomorf obtuvo su primera asistencia internacional y la oportunidad de presentar a un público más amplio. József Szakács (batería) se unió a la banda poco después y el trío comenzó a grabar Kalyi jag ( "Negro Fire " ) que salió en 2000 y se distribuyó en todo el mundo. Se obtuvo muy buenas críticas de la prensa que al instante para realizar comparaciones Sepultura o Soulfly, debido a la agresividad, la energía, la crítica social y letras. Tours y conciertos en grandes festivales seguidos. En 2002, Ektomorf I Scream puesto en libertad hasta el cielo. El álbum se convirtió en el más exitoso de la banda hasta la fecha y obtuvo entusiastas críticas, así como las características populares de rock en revistas como Metal Hammer y Hard Rock. Después de varios problemas con los directores y etiquetas Ektomorf finalmente se convirtió a un período de cuatro piezas con guitarra Tamás Schrottner y firmado a Nuclear Blast en 2003. Grabación de sesiones para el nuevo álbum Destroy tuvo lugar durante el mes de noviembre de 2003. En la primavera de 2004, Ektomorf fueron de gira con Pro-Pain. En el verano de 2004 fueron el acto de apoyo para Fear Factory.

Genero: Melodic Black/ Death Metal

Zonaria es una banda Sueca formada en el 2001 y que aunque apenas estan empesando a formarse un nombre dentro del metal es impresionante que teniendo menos de 20 años los integrantes de la banda ya esten llegando a estos niveles.

El estilo de Zonaria es una combinacion de varias bandas de Death Metal melodico que seguramente ellos escucharan bastante, las influencias de Arch Enemy brincan rapidamente especialmente porque son de su mismo pais, tambien encontraremos un poco de bandas como Hypocrisy y Children of Bodom.

La produccion de los discos es clara como el cristal y se escucha que no se dejo pasar ningun detalle, esto es un arma de doble filo (a mi parecer) porque en el disco se escuchan una infinidad de capas de guitarras y voces que no estoy tan seguro que puedan ser reproducidas muy facilmente en vivo aparte que dan la apariencia en algunos momentos de ser demasiado mecanizados, como sea lo que nos interesa es lo que podemos escuchar aqui y la mayoria de las canciones son brillantemente buenas.

Al igual que sus influencias que mencione su musica es pesada y con mucha calidad asi como con algunos elementos para hacerla mas "accesible" como el uso esporadico de voces limpias, teclados , riffs melodicos, etc.

En conclusion es una banda en ascenso muy recomendable para practicamente cualquier gusto metalero, especialmente si te agrada el Melodic Death Metal te va a encantar este grupo.

Dark Lunacy discografia [DD]

Dark Lunacy es una banda Italiana formada en 1997 y gozan de una popularidad relativamente grande dentro del mundo del metal.

El estilo de Dark Lunacy es una excelente combinación de Death Metal Melódico (similar al de Dark Tranquility) con elementos de música clásica/sinfónica que están muy presentes en todas las canciones.

Esta mezcla da lugar a una variedad muy buena en sus canciones y los hace resaltar de la sobresaturada escena del Melodic Death Metal y todo esto sin sacrificar la pesadez de la música, desde mi punto de vista la presencia de la orquesta hace incluso mas poderoso su sonido.

Para que te des una idea mas clara de sus sonido yo diria que son una mezcla Dark Tranquility con Therion y Epica, una combinación muy buena a mi parecer.

Evidentemente les recomiendo totalmente esta banda, especialmente el primer álbum es magnifico, aunque igual los que le siguen son tremendamente buenos, en serio que es una joya este grupo no lo dejen pasar.
